2020-2021 RECREATION SOCCER REGISTRATION INFORMATION: 

Registration for 2020-2021 Recreation Season is now OPEN

Registration for the 2020-2021 Recreation Season is officially open! It is very important that we get a jump on player registration so we can begin solidifying plans for our teams and age groups. 

Recreation Soccer Depends on Parent-Volunteers 

ALSO is a volunteer-run organization that relies on parents to fill the roles of Head Coach, Assistant Coach and Team Manager. During the unprecedented, worldwide COVID health pandemic, ALSO intends to keep team rosters as small as possible to avoid crowded fields and sidelines. The existence and ultimate success of your child’s team will depend upon parent volunteers for the Head Coach, Assistant Coach and Team Manager positions. Please consider volunteering to fill one of these essential positions for your child’s team. If your child’s team cannot fill these essential parent-volunteer positions, ALSO will be forced to cancel your child’s team. 

Annual Fee for 2020-2021 Recreation Season is $100

During registration you will be asked to pay the annual fee of $100 for the 2020-2021 Recreation Season. If you elected to receive a discount code when the 2019-2020 spring session was cancelled, you will receive the discount code via a separate email.  

The deadline for fall recreation registration is August 16, 2020

All returning and new recreation players must complete their registration before August 17, 2020 to participate in the fall recreation session. 

ALSO understands that some parents will want to wait longer before their child participates in soccer. Therefore, ALSO will offer a mid-year registration in the winter for those who want to join for the spring session. 

COVID Guidelines

ALSO will prioritize safety of its players and coaches during the COVID-19 global pandemic. Participation in ALSO Recreation Soccer will require adherence to the most recent COVID-19 requirements as published by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the Ohio Department of Health, and Lorain County Public Health. This could result in changes to the ALSO recreation start date, team rosters, practice and game structure and dates. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate this difficult situation.
