2020 ALSO Fall Travel Season Has Ended

Registration for the 2020-2021 Travel Season closed on June 23rd.

ALSO will offer a mid-year registration in the winter for those who want to join for the spring session.

ALSO/UPPER 90 NORTH AFFILIATION

ALSO is now affiliated with Upper 90 North Club Soccer. This affiliation provides ALSO players an opportunity to play at the Club level at a discounted rate.

OVERVIEW

ALSO Travel Soccer players playing for Upper 90 North during the 2020-2021 travel season will receive 50% off the Upper 90 Club fees for the 2020-2021 club season. This does not include tournament fees. In order to be eligible for this season’s 50% discount, Avon Lake soccer players that play for Upper 90 North must also play Avon Lake Travel Soccer.

Travel Program Overview

The Avon Lake travel program provides a higher level of competition against other communities throughout Northeast Ohio. Any players considering making the jump to a traveling team should be made aware of the following:

This program begins at the U9 level through U14
Teams are selected through a tryout that occurs in May/June each year. NOTE: No tryouts for 2020-2021 travel season.
There can be multiple teams in each age group.
There are 8 games in the Fall and 8 games in the Spring with 4 games being played at home and 4 games played at other community sites.
Games are normally played on Sundays.
2 practices per week at Avon Lake fields.
Team technical training offered 6 times per season and may be separate from practice.
Optional winter indoor training is also available.
