Registration is now OPEN for the 2024-2025 ALSO Travel Soccer program.

CURRENT TRAVEL PLAYERS:
There will be no formal evaluation (tryout) for current ALSO travel players. Current travel coaches in partnership with our pro coaching staff and Director of Coaching, will work with ALSO Travel Committee to form teams based on player’s current season abilities demonstrated through games, practices and pro coaching sessions.

NEW TRAVEL PLAYERS:
EVALUATION INFO: Evaluations will take place during the ALSO Pro Coaching practice sessions that are scheduled for the current travel players.
Those new to the travel program MUST ATTEND at least one of the two pro coaching sessions on the sign-up with their appropriate age group to be properly evaluated.

ALSO Travel Soccer is part of the Ohio Travel Soccer League (OHTSL). More information can be found on the OHTSL website:
Travel Program Overview
The Avon Lake travel program provides a higher level of competition against other communities throughout Northeast Ohio. Any players considering making the jump to a traveling team should be made aware of the following:
- This program begins at the U9 level through U14
- Teams are selected through a tryout that occurs in May/June each year.
- There can be multiple teams in each age group.
- There are 8 games in the Fall and 8 games in the Spring with 4 games being played at home and 4 games played at other community sites.
- Games are normally played on Sundays.
- 2 practices per week at Avon Lake fields.
- Optional winter indoor training is also available.
ALSO/NORTH FC CLUB SOCCER AFFILIATION
ALSO is affiliated with North FC Club Soccer (formerly Upper 90 North FC). This affiliation provides ALSO players an opportunity to play at the Club level at a discounted rate.
OVERVIEW
ALSO Travel Soccer players playing for North FC during the 2021-2022 travel season will receive 10% off the North FC Club fees for the 2021-2022 club season. This does not include tournament fees. To be eligible for the North FC 10% discount, Avon Lake soccer players must also play Avon Lake Travel Soccer.
