Registration is now OPEN for the 2023-2024 ALSO Travel Soccer program.

CURRENT TRAVEL PLAYERS:

There will be no formal evaluation (tryout) for current ALSO travel players. Current travel coaches in partnership with our pro coaching staff and Director of Coaching, will work with ALSO Travel Committee to form teams based on player’s current season abilities demonstrated through games, practices and pro coaching sessions.

NEW TRAVEL PLAYERS:

EVALUATION INFO: Evaluations will take place during the ALSO Pro Coaching practice sessions that are scheduled for the current travel players.  

Those new to the travel program MUST ATTEND at least one of the two pro coaching sessions on the sign-up with their appropriate age group to be properly evaluated.

ALSO is proud to again partner with Challenger Sports to offer the International Soccer Camp at Walker Road Park the week of July 24. Programs are available for kids ages 3-14.

Avon Lake Soccer is happy to announce that supplemental registration for Spring 2023 Recreation Soccer is now open!  Spots are limited to the extent that there is space on existing teams.  

However, new teams will be created if there is enough interest to form new teams AND we have parent volunteers who are willing to coach. Avon Lake Soccer is an entirely volunteer-run organization and depends on you, the parents, to make it happen—reply to this email if you are signing your child up now and willing to coach a team!

How it works: When you register your child with their name, address and date of birth and your payment information,  they are placed on a waitlist of prospective players.  The Recreation Soccer Directors will then hand assign players to teams where there are openings and decide if new teams are warranted.  Your credit card payment is only processed once your child is taken off the waitlist and placed on a team! 

The Supplemental Registration is only open until February 28th.  Teams will be finalized during the month of March, announced the last week in March and games will start April 22nd.

The 2022 Fall Travel Soccer Season is under way.  We have pro-coaching sessions at Walker Road Park on Monday and Wednesdays, while games have begun as well.

The Avon Lake High School / ALSO Summer Camp for Girls Sign Up is now live!  The deadline for sign-up is May 27th.  This is for girls from Kindergarten through 7th Grade.  We had 50 girls there last year-hoping for even more this year.
